The aim of Giant Elephants Roam is to bring animation education into prison and awesome animated films out.
Based out of Los Angeles, California, Giant Elephants Roam aims to work with Southern California Prisons, having already established a program at the California State Prison Los Angeles County, in Lancaster. This project takes place in conjunction with the Honour Program. Or, better said, it takes place on the Honour Yard. This is a revolutionary and unique program at the Antelope State Valley prison. For more information please visit www.prisonhonorprogram.org.
We are glad to say, the animation project is finally past its infant state, meaning our pilot program has been successful. We will be publishing our progress here periodically as well as presenting still images from our student's work in the gallery section of this site.
-Giant Elephants Roam is currently on hiatus due to changes in California State Law, among other things. We are relocating to New York and will revamp the program as soon as possible. We have had an amazing year and would like to thank everyone who helped and supported us, and those who took mere interest. - Thank You -
